Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance from Southern Connecticut State University. She studied Japanese acupressure, known as Shiatsu-Anma from The Tao Healing Arts School in Santa Monica, California. She has a four-year Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Yo San University, also in Santa Monica.
Julia is Nationally Certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. She is licensed to practice in California and Tennessee.
After moving to Eastern Tennessee with her husband Mark, she opened her private practice in 1999. She has contributed to two medical textbooks and is the former President of the Tennessee Acupuncture Council. Click on the links below to learn more about her training.
